Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

1969 Press with HYBRID Mono/Stereo Sleeve!
This listing is for an extremely rare and highly collectible 1969 copy of the Beatles LP 'Sgt. Peppers' on the Parlophone label. This is the 1969 pressing that features the 'hybrid' sleeve design and features both mono and stereo catalogue numbers at the top right of the back cover.
In 1969, just as Parlophone were going through a label design change, it was decided to redesign the Pepper cover to feature both the mono and stereo catalogue number. To do this they took the standard mono sleeve design and added the stereo catalogue number to the right of it (however, leaving the 'this is a mono recording' text unchanged at the bottom right). However, as this design was going to press the mono issue of Sgt. Pepper was withdrawn, and so having the mono catalogue number immediately became useless. Therefore the idea was scrapped and the stereo only sleeve design was used from then on.
However, a tiny number of copies featuring both catalogue numbers did make it to the shelves, and this is your chance now to grab a copy!
Not in the best condition, but would make a perfect collection filler!

Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod and Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 637-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 638-1 Side 1 Stampers 2 / GPL Side 2 Stampers 1 / GHH Cover Condition The cover is in FAIR/GOOD condition. The cover is holding okay but is showing its age, unfortunately. The cover is showing some wear and light creasing, and there is a small tear on the back running in from the mouth edge about an inch or so long. The top seam is fine, bottom seam has wear in the middle but has not split. The spine is worn and unfortunately split in the middle about 2 inches long. Inside is looking very colourful and clean. Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in GOOD condition. The disc has a nice shine but is covered in scuffs and light marks, along with a few slightly heavier looking marks that're unfeelable under the fingernail. There's nothing deep or nasty looking, however. Label Condition The labels are in VG condition. The labels are clean and have some light wear as you can see in the photos below.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
