This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, HEY JUDE 1970 Stereo on the Dark GREEN APPLE label CPCS 106
This Pressing is the 1st Pressing to be released on the APPLE label, with the DARK GREEN APPLE label.
This is the 2nd version of the Dark green APPLE label with 'Revolution' correctly spelt but with ' PAPER BACK WRITER' still incorrectly spelt, three worded. Later pressings this was corrected to 'PAPERBACK WRITER'
Matrix numbers are:- Side 1:- YEEX 150-1, Side 2:- YEEX 151-1
Stamper Codes are:- Side 1:- 2 / ?, Side 2:- ? / ?
Unusually I can only find one stamper number on side 1's dead wax, all other stamper numbers and letters are missing
What stands out on this great original UK EXPORT LP , is firstly the cover, superb!
Secondly is the condition of the vinyl and the audio. Its a sheer joy to listen too, playing MINT-
The original 1970 UK Garrod and Lofthouse fully laminated cover is in EX+++ condition. The cover is beautifully clean and crisp maintaining all its original bright vibrant cover. The spine is solid and perfectly readable. band and title of the album is repeated on the top seam Their is no unwanted writing.
The vinyl is visually in MINT- condition, gleaming with all its original shine and lustre.
The vinyl plays superbly, MINT-, playing with powerful crisp clean sound. The vinyl from start to finish plays with sublime warmth and depth
