Description

The Beatles - 'Hey Jude!'. CPCS 106

The Beatles 1973 2nd UK EXPORT (HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL) pressing of the 'Hey Jude' LP. Released on the 26th February 1970, and offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.

One of The Beatles rarer albums as it failed to make the UK charts on release. The 1970 and 1973 issues of this album were destined for sales overseas hence the export catalogue number and very poor UK sales. Hey Jude did not get an official UK release until 1979.

Released on the Apple label with the unusual feature of having a different style label on each side. It looks to me as if side 1 has the 1973 label design and side 2 has the 1970 label attached (different layout and darker label on side 2). The vinyl is quality pressed heavyweight vinyl unlike the late 70's issues. The sleeve is the original fully laminated issue and comes complete with the original and correct inner sleeve (I shall include an additional inner sleeve for protection). The matrix numbers are also unusual for this issue, note the lack of any mother / stamper codes below. A stunning example of this desirable album.

Side 1. YEEX 150-1 2

Side 2. YEEX 150-2

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Seam split to the bottom edge.

The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. I shall include an additional inner sleeve for protection.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £19.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
