This auction is for an exceptionally rare 1999 UK pressing of the Beatles LP 'Ruuber Soul'. This is the impossible to find White Apple label mispress!

The stuff of legends! There was a huge hoo-haa about this error when it initially came to light in the early 2000s. What seems to have happened is that, in 1999, a tiny batch of copies of Rubber Soul were put through that featured a white, custom Apple label. Now, we all know that Rubber Soul should be on the Parlophone label, and so this massive, massive error was obviously immediately spotted and corrected, but not before a small number managed to get through and make their way into shops. Estimates on just how many copies made it out are vague, but I've heard people say it may have just been a few hundred that made it past!

There was an initial splurge of copies about 10 to 15 years ago when their rarity and backstory became public and every one was immediately snapped up and put into permanent collections. Today it is near-impossible to find copies of this record and is one that no Beatles collection should be without!

The playing surface is spotless. This disc honestly looks like it has never even seen a needle. Completely and utterly immaculate with just a couple of very light little fingersmudges on the very edge from where the disc has been very carefully handled.

The labels are near perfect! The only thing that's everso slightly dragging the grading down is just one barely visible, extrmely tiny little spindlemark on the side 2 label. Seriously, you can barely see it and I can just about make it out under my powerful desk lamp.
