BEATLES UK 1st PRESSING LET IT BE BOX SET
APPLE PXS 1 STEREO
This auction is for a 1969 UK Beatles LET IT BE BOX SET PXS 1 containing the Beatles 1st press LP Let it Be LP PCS 7096 Stereo . Specific details of the components of the box set are given below. Please read in conjunction with photographs. The overall grading of the set is Very Good.
Outer sleeve - original and in very good condition, all intact with just the odd nock to to edges and corners.
Inner sleeve (wrap around) all complete and intact and in very good condition. Some wear to edges, some creasing, no rips.
Book Tray - this is the only part of the set which is not original . These inner trays were very flimsy when they were made and very easily fell apart. many sets today have repro inner trays. This tray is a brand new and an excellent reproduction.
Book - Appears to be in excellent condition. I have had a quick flip though and saw no marked or creased pages. Binding is all secure.
Vinyl - There is has fine generalwear to the vinyl with odd marks here, graded very good. Overall it plays well with little background noise except for one track where there are just a few minor clicks.
It has the 1st issue matrix numbers showing it to be the earliest box set
Matrix numbers are XEX 773-2U XEX 774-2U
The label on side one has a name written on it and also a light patch just below the name, see photo. The label on side 2 is in excellent condition.
Record Sleeve - This is in very good condition with some wear along the edges. Front and back have no major faults just light surface wear and a few creases. It has the red apple logo showing it to be the earliest box set.
Inner Record Sleeve - white inner sleeve in excellent condition
All records cleaned with a professional vacuum record cleaning machine and sent to you in card record mailer with stiffener to avoid any damage. Carriage charges cover the cost of the packaging materials and postage only. I try to ensure that all my descriptions and gradings are accurate and I keep them brief and factual.
