"Beatles" first two Capitol Singles "I Want To Hold Your Hand" and "Cant Buy Me Love" (1964) You will receive both of the Records and Sleeves shown.
"I Want To Hold Your Hand" was released on Feb. 9th and went right to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Then 8 weeks later the release of the second Capitol single"Cant But Me Love' shot to the #1 position giving the group the top 5 spots on the charts,a feat not equaled before or since.The #2 spot was 'Twist and Shout"#3 was "She Loves You" #4 "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and at #5 "Please Please Me".
This is the rarer East Coast pressing of 'I Want To Hold Your Hand".This copy of "Can't Buy Me Love" with the picture sleeve is the rarest of all the Beatle picture sleeves and very hard to find in this shape.These are the Original Sleeves and Records from 1964.Be aware most others you see are a re-release from 1984 and have the same exact Sleeves and Records.
The Records are in "Scratch Free" Mint Condition.The sleeves are in Excellent Condition with some very light creases and some very light staining.The records and sleeves are over 52 years old and someone would be very hard pressed to find better conditioned copies anywhere.The records were purchased from "HERITAGE AUCTIONS" and were listed as two of the finest copies ever seen through their auction house.
