Description
On offer here is a very VERY rare Beatles Fan Club Flexidisc (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'The Beatles Third Christmas Record' and is a 1965 UK 1st Lyntone pressing!!!! IT IS VERY RARE TO FIND THIS FLEXIDISC!!!! AND EVEN RARER TO FIND IT WITH ITS ORIGINAL NEWSLETTER!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Lyntone Christmas Fan Club Pressing with a White Lyntone Label. The Cat No is LYN 948 and the matrix number is LYN 948-1Y. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record label is in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, a TINY greasemark on one edge and NO spindle marks!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE CENTRE HOLE - TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! The Flexidisc is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s Flexidiscs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches, only a few non sounding hairlines, and only some VERY light scuffing only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is even BETTER than the visual!!!! IT PLAYS STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO nasty constant crackle, and only the usual low level background noise often found on these types of flexidiscs!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The flexisdisc is also slightly uneven - though this does not affect the play if the label is weighted. The Flexidisc must grade visually Very Good(maybe+) if not better (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) - with the playing grade more like Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! THE MEGA RARE FOLD-OUT NEWSLETTER IS IN GREAT CONDITION - with only a few light creases, NO rips, NO writing, NO stains and NO tears!!!! The Flipback Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has virtually ZERO edge wear (nearly all the colour still perfect), NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the back of the cover is in STUNNING condition, with NO writing, NO yellowing, and NO grubbyness!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking Flexidisc and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE Fan Club Flexisdisc!!!!
