ARTIST: The Beatles
TITLE: Yesterday And Today
LABEL & CATALOG #: Original Capitol Stereo ST-2553 (The Butcher Cover)
VINYL CONDITION: Fair - Not really very good but playable. Better copies are available. It has the original Capitol inner sleeve.
COVER CONDITION: The cover had an excellent peel job I graded VG++/NM. It's not perfect but close to it. The seams and corners are all very good except the bottom seam had a minor 3" split that I re-glued and is barely noticable now. The back cover has a name written on it that you can see in the picture and is pretty minor.
COMMENTS: I've probaly had around fifty peeled butcher covers come through the store in the last 25 years. This copy is in the top four or five I've seen and is one I think should be framed to show off and to keep in excellent condition. I've tried to show the cover in the pictures. It's hard to find any glue residue. There is a minor paper tear in the very bottom left corner by John's leg that could easily be colored and totally hidden. The only other cover defect I could find is shown in the picture by the song titles and looks like a minor indentation of a pencil or something similar. All in all, you can see that this is a very clean copy and good enough for you. Don't let it slip by!!!
We clean all our LP’s with a Nitty-Gritty record cleaning machine then both spot play and visibly grade them using the Goldmine grading system. We double pack them with the LP removed from the cover to avoid any seam damage. Payment MUST be received within 7 days!!!!
