The BEATLES 45. 1978 USA Capitol PURPLE labels, MONO reissue Single: AND I LOVE HER and IF I FELL. From Summer 1964, UK A HARD DAYS NIGHT LP!! This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. My highest grade. No Mints from me!! Near Mint is for Still Sealed only!! EX means Fully shiny and clean and plays thru great, with few scuffs or marks. EXCELLENT, proud to own!! Collectable and worth keeping!! And the labels are clean, no writing on either label, BUT this B Side label has a tape over sticker area, see Photo 2!! This one comes with Common White Sleeve!! No Company Sleeve this time! This 1978 PURPLE MONO version is medium hard to find. Much rarer than the later 1988 Purple (Starline) Labels from Capitol. The biggest visible difference between them is the “Rim print” beginning with either “Mfd. by Capitol” or “Manufactured by Capitol”. This 1978 set all show the “Mfd.” lettering!! The 1988 set all show “Manufactured by” lettering!! NOTE: ONLY ONE of these 1978 PURPLE Beatles Singles, of the original First 20, was actually STEREO, both sides (Slow Down / Matchbox). A SUPER RARE COLLECTABLE. It is a quite rare song pair in Stereo, especially in the US, it’s the ONLY US issue of those 2 in STEREO, EVER!!! Another secret to these Purple label Beatles 45s is there are 2 different pressings, one with “THE BEATLES” artist name printed ABOVE the song title, and the other set with “THE BEATLES” artist name printed BELOW the song title!!! A picky thing to search for but 2 great collector’s subsets!! THIS SALE ITEM IS “THE BEATLES” ABOVE VERSION!!! See Photo 1-2!! Beatles Capitol Singles were reissued multiple times: 1969, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1994!! And this is great for 44 year old vInyl!! These later reissues were bought and saved more than they were played!! This is a great and hard to find rarity Capitol Beatles Collectable from USA where ALL of the full original 25 Beatles singles series came out on these Capitol 1978 PURPLE labels, 19 in standard MONO, and 10 more in STEREO.
