The BEATLES. 45 rpm vinyl record. Third Pressing??? The matrix on A Side Love me do reads 27144-3. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine VG. Scuffed but plays nice and looks good, but the problem is A side has small initial “C” in ink by title. Or this would be listed VG+. Still a SUPER Collectable. First of the Original Canada Capitol Beatles Nine. The Singles issued on the iconic yellow/orange swirl prior to Canada Capitol falling in line with the 19 USA Beatles Capitol/pre-Apple releases. LOVE ME DO (Ringo on drums, 1962 release) and P.S. I LOVE YOU. Note: LOVE ME DO had a second version, entirely rerecorded for the Beatles first UK LP, and it was not released anywhere till spring ‘63. This second version had Andy White on drums and Ringo on Tambourine. All 3 listed songs songs are worldwide Mono. They were not mixed to Stereo in ‘62-63 and original tapes were destroyed as was normal in 1962. These older Original Canada Capitol Nine are hard to find better than VG+. And always priced over $50! Request a copy of my Top 100 Hard to Find Beatles songs on 45 list, if interested. This is the ONLY way to find this rarity as a Capitol yellow/orange swirl single! From Canada! Add the 19 Beatles Capitol USA yellow/orange swirl 45s, and the 3 unique Beatles Capitol Mexico yellow/orange swirl 45s (Help, Yesterday, and Hey Jude) and there are 31 great similar labeled Beatles Capitol 45s. Very cool! End of lesson. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969! See photos, actual record. Common white sleeve.
