The BEATLES 45. Canada Capitol iconic Yellow-Orange Swirl Labels. Issued originally in 1964 from Canada’s Capitol label. One of 9 Beatles unique (non-US) singles in Canada. This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Nice and shiny and maybe a few scuffs but very clean and plays thru very well. A great copy! And labels are clean too with a little wear! Very nice, EX!! Still awesome for 55 year old vinyl. Note: matrix numbers are standard, see info section!! So, definitely a 1964 First Press! But any copy this nice is a SUPER Collectable from Canada. My 2nd best copy!! Here are 2 songs from the early Beatles: DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SECRET and THANK YOU GIRL. This 1964 release date coincided with Beatles US single of the same songs on VeeJay Records. By Spring 1964 both were selling nicely, probably a million in the US!! This single was never released in UK!!! But by 1964 Beatlemania had exploded and eventually so did sales of multiple Beatles records on multiple labels as everyone was cashing in!!! This is one of the “Capitol Canada Nine”, singles on the Yellow/Orange Swirl labels that were NEVER released on Capitol in USA. ALSO: this includes an Original Canada Capitol Company Sleeve graded EX, very nice. Starting with I want To Hold Your Hand, both countries released the same singles, till 1970!! Both sides here are MONO as are all the Canada Capitol Beatles 45s until Get Back. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
