The BEATLES 45, RARITY unique foreign (GERMAN) language BEATLES single from CANADA on iconic Capitol Swirl Orange/Yellow labels. From Spring 1964, issue 72162. This was one of the few countries to release this single worldwide during Beatlemania!! GERMANY, AUSTRALIA, CANADA, and USA only!!! THIS IS ONE OF ONLY 4 1960s WORLDWIDE 45 SINGLE RELEASES OF THIS A SIDE GEM: SIE LIEBT DICH (She Loves You, sung in German). plus the Common flip side hit I’LL GET YOU. And SIE LIEBT DICH is a wonderful Lennon-McCartney redone vocal. Recorded for the Germany market in early 1964, 6 months after the original English version! This A Side was first released in (Germany) March 1964, just before work began on the movie A Hard Days Night, done as a gift to their loyal German fans, but with Beatlemania running rampant, everything they did hit the open market!! MONEY TO BE MADE!!! This A Side was only released in the 60s from Germany, Canada, USA and Australia!!! Not even in UK!!! IT IS MONO BOTH SIDES. But there was a later 45 repressing from Australia in 1976 and 1982 (in True Stereo even!!). Back to this sale item: The Goldmine condition of this rarity is indeed EX, my highest grade, with only light marks and none effecting play. EX means Excellent. A treasured record!! BOTH SIDES PLAY THRU GREAT and the music is loud anyway. And the labels are EX also, light wear and no writing!! For me NM is for Still Sealed records only! 1) EX is my best grade, fully Collectable, Proud to own! Excellent!! 2) And then VG+ is fully Collectable till an EX can be found!! Mostly shiny and Collection worthy! These original Canada Capitol Swirl Sie liebt dich singles are a collectors holy grail!! There were just 9 early CANADA CAPITOL SWIRL singles issued before Canada Capitol merged their catalog with USA Capitol starting with I want to hold your hand! THIS IS THE RAREST OF THE CANADA NINE. It is an early 1964 pressing. No Doubt!! The A side song sold well in Germany on Odeon!!! It did not sell well in Canada on Capitol, nor in the USA on Swan, nor in Australia on Parlophone!!! They would make a super Collectable “Fab Four” framed set of 60s rarities for sure!!! See 45cat discography site for better details! My favorite discography information site!!! These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. Both songs here are MONO, but later Stereo version of A Side is out there, BUT NO Stereo version of either 1963 She Loves You or I’ll Get You exist worldwide!!! They were lost/destroyed!!
