The BEATLES 45. GERMANY Original press Single on GREEN ODEON Labels, issue O-23-171. From early 1966, unique release of two secondary Beatles hits on this Semi-Rarity single, never reissued in Germany: NOWHERE MAN and WHAT GOES ON. This combo release only in 4 countries: US, Canada, Germany, and Japan!! Most of these early singles were released with Picture Sleeves, which is included here! And throughout 1963-66 they had Green Odeon labels, like this one, with “Made in Germany” printed in a Straight line near the bottom label edge, but later songs and reissues had “Made in Germany” printed in a curve along the bottom label rim (1966-1968). This one is the Original “straight line” version, so you know it is an original prior to 1967!!! And it comes in common White sleeve and ORIGINAL 1966 ODEON GERMANY NOWHERE MAN PICTURE SLEEVE!! See photos 3-4!! This Black Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX, fully shiny, some scuffs and marks, but clean and plays thru great. EXCELLENT. proud to own!! And labels are both clean, NO writing either side! A SUPER Collectable from Germany! This is the hardest of the 4 to find. All these original issue early Germany Odeon Green Beatles singles are Hard to Find!! They are the 15 Green Odeon Singles not reissued in 1976! The reissued ones formed the BEATLES COME BACK series of 26 singles!! Both sides here are MONO!! Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969! BUT, Both these tunes are Stereo from 1996 Capitol Cema 45, USA! Neither song is on my HTF List (Both songs are readily available from either UK, US, or Japan)!!
