Another BEATLES Italy Parlophon Promo White single RARITY! A 1967 first press of the only official EMI worldwide release of these 2 songs (prior to 1977!). Especially A DAY IN THE LIFE. From 1967 In MONO, not the later Stereo versions issued worldwide in 1977!! If you collect Beatles MONO singles, this is the only official Mono of A day in the Life. It was also Mono as a single from Iran, 1967, but much tougher to find, and over $100 if VG+, and it’s a pirate issue, not EMI authorized!! Some 36 Beatles Singles were issued later in 1976 on Apple and Parlophone labels from Italy, 21 Apple, others Parlophone! And all but one were issued in MONO. Most reissue series by 1976 were Stereo (Germany, France, Brazil, Japan). This record is Goldmine VG- (minus). It was clearly played lots in a Jukebox. Scuffed but not scratched, but it’s worldwide rarity is it’s charm! And the labels both have a name in ink that reduces appeal! Thanks Renato!! Vinyl plays thru fully well. Some noise but not bad! This record is Hard to Find, this is only the 3rd time I’ve seen it in 5 years!! And the true A Side is SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, as a Single play, not combined with A Little Help From My Friends. I think only Italy and France issued it as a true Songle!! And Italy NEVER released this A Day in the Life/ Peppers as a Stock Single. It never got past the Promo stage (I bet the Beatles / EMI put a stop to it. No singles allowed in 1967 from the Peppers LP!! ). These labels are VG. Wear and Ink lower the grade. It Comes in standard White sleeve, but also the Italy Odeon Company Sleeve shown in photos 3-4. These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. This is a 45 Single of two Beatles songs as a rare Parlophon White Promo pairing from Italy. Both songs are MONO here! Stereo 45s became common in 1969. Both songs can be found in Stereo from France, 1972/76, and many other countries.
