The BEATLES 45 rpm vinyl record. Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. My highest grade. Great Red vinyl, shiny, few scuffs, both labels clean. Sleeve also EX with no writing. Awesome for 50 year old collectable! Japan is known for having the best vinyl records in the world, almost always in EX condition. They play great and look great. Sometimes the sleeves get beaten up. Not this one. Most copies of Odeon Beatles were Black Wax. And some of the Red Wax Beatles Odeon singles sell for $1000!! This one is the rarer Odeon (Black Label) RED WAX version of LADY MADONNA and THE INNER LIGHT. And this comes with a great PICTURE SLEEVE, with lyrics on the inside, and Toshiba Company Sleeve inner sleeve. it’s an awesome item. Red Wax versions were issued in lower numbers and prices vary greatly from normal ($25-50) to unbelievable ($500-1000). Today, one Madonna Red Wax on eBay asks for $99. These Red Vinyl are Very Lightly played, they rarely got played, just collected. JAPAN issued most Beatles singles on Odeon and Apple in line with UK (plus many extra singles). About 43 total on Odeon in the 60s. Then about 50 total on Apple into the 70s. Originally I purchased them in my search for Worldwide Stereo Beatles singles. These 2 songs are MONO as are all original Japan Odeon singles. They are 2 common Beatles songs worldwide. Most Capitol reissues stayed Mono, but not all, many are in Stereo if you play test them!! Try 1977 Japan reissue for Madonna in Stereo!! And only Spain has The Inner Light in Sim-Stereo on 45 Single, from 1976. Or it’s true Stereo on 4 song EP from UK 1981!! A must have!! (I’m currently selling one today on eBay).
