Description

The Beatles, rarity from JAPAN Odeon on Black labels. A First issue of The Beatles hit single from 1965. PRICE IN YEN ON THE FRONT COVER IS A GREAT INDICATOR OF PRESSING, 330 Yen in 1965. Japan originally issued Beatles singles on Odeon till 1968, Hey Jude, then on APPLE labels into the 70s!!, including reissues of all the 60s singles with APPLE labels. It created sets of 36-40 of each label style!! Both very cool!! And each record was pressed on both Black and Red vinyl, creating 4 great sets. Of course the rarer Red vinyls are more expensive!! AND ALSO UNIQUE TO JAPAN ARE THESE JAPAN ONLY PICTURE SLEEVES (actually just fold over covers, usually with song lyrics included). This single: EVERYBODY’S TRYING TO BE MY BABY and I DON’T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY. Rather rare, this was the last of this set I could find a copy of. The Goldmine Vinyl condition is EX on this record. But the thin paper “cover” is Only VG+, darn pin holes in corners, otherwise nice!! Remember, this one is NOT a sleeve, but just a “Picture Cover” with lyrics on the inside, and other info in Japanese on the other sides!! Also included is a Green Odeon Company Sleeve, and a Common White plain sleeve!! But the Vinyl is EX, fully shiny with minor scuffs but no scratches. I play tested it and both sides play loud and with minimal noise, and are MONO both sides!! Spoil the Party is Common on 45, (any single from UK or US). trying to be my baby is Hard to Find, Number 65 on my HTF list!!
