This rare and highly sought after 7" vinyl record by the Beatles is a must-have for any serious collector of import or Philippines 45s. Featuring 2 iconic tracks: SLOW DOWN and MATCHBOX. This original Philippines Black label Parlophone 45 comes with original Parlophone Company Sleeve and both are in VG condition, with scuffs and marks and used (not EX or VG+) but vinyl plays thru and still delivers high-fidelity sound with mono audio and 45 RPM speed.
Still one of many 1964 Beatles releases in Philippines, 2 of the Beatles early 1964 songs, during the height of worldwide Beatlemania, this is a FIRST press (see tiny “Parlophone” under Parlophone heading). Earlier first press for prior Beatles PH 45s has “TM Reg Phil Pat Off” ( under Parlophone header) labels. Next came this tiny “Parlophone” letters under main Parlophone header! Then came later 60s labels with “Gramophone” under the header!!! Finally came the labels with the PARI seal, 1972 thru 1980!! All later issues have Black labels which have 4 variations into 1970s. This one from the Philippines also features black vinyl color and black label material, and Beatles catalog number PAL-60255.
