Description
The BEATLES 45, SUPER-RARE single from SOUTH AFRICA, on Black Parlophone labels. 1964. THERE ARE ONLY 2 WORLDWIDE 45 SINGLES OF THIS A SIDE GEM: “JUST SEVENTEEN” That was the working studio title to the legendary I SAW HER STANDING THERE, one of 10 songs recorded in one day for the Beatles first UK album PLEASE PLEASE ME, released in early 1963 (March). They liked the energy of the song so much they made it the opening song on the album, with the frenetic count-in “1-2-3-4…..”. Still amazing!! And the B Side on this Single is Equally awesome, ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN, from their Second UK Album WITH THE BEATLES from November 1963!! This is indeed a SUPER RARE Single available worldwide essentially from One country (12 years of international searching and I own ZERO records from S. Rhodesia!!). This Goldmine condition is EX on this record rarity! My highest grade! Mostly shiny with minor scuffs and marks but no scratches effecting play. BOTH SIDES PLAY THRU GREAT, virtually NO clicks and the music is loud anyway, both sides!!! And fully clean labels, No writing! SUPER nice considering the A Side rarity!! For me NM is for Still Sealed records!! EX means EXCELLENT, no need to search for a better copy!! MOST OF THESE SOUTH AFRICA BEATLES SINGLES ARE SUPER HARD TO FIND, MOST ARE QUITE RARE, ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH RARE SONG COMBINATIONS I’ve only seen this one about ONCE a year, and rarely EX!! These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. These 2 songs from 1963, but issued in 1964! Both songs are MONO!! Both songs are common worldwide single, but JUST SEVENTEEN is a rarity title and it is Number 37 on my personal HTF List!! Request my List of 100 Beatles Hard to Find Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide, If interested, Or the 150 STEREO Beatles Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide. No charge!! Best to every fan. See photos 1-2for actual record. And Photos 3-4 for actual sale item Parlophone Company Sleeve. Also Ships in common White sleeve!! THIS IS RECORD #2 from my personal set of my 150 Beatles Best International Singles I will be selling over the next 6 months (no US or UK Singles in the set)!! Price reduces weekly till sold!
