Description

The Beatles super rarity from South Africa (and Rhodesia) ONLY!! 1964 original issue. Standard Parlophone Black labels. Goldmine condition is VG. Labels are nice, no writing, light wear, sticker/tape residue on A side. Vinyl is half shiny, half scuffs but no scratches. I play tested it and both sides play loud and with minimal crackles. Both songs really rock loud anyways and no crackles could be heard! A surprisingly nice sounding record. These old 60s singles were made tough to hold up to high humidity and lots of wear and tear. This is a super rare ( only one country!) 45 Single of the Beatles song I SAW HER STANDING THERE, but it’s titled JUST SEVENTEEN, which was apparently on the tape box sent to EMI South Africa (and Rhodesia) in 1964. This was during early Beatlemania, a combination of songs from the Beatles first two UK LPs Please Please Me, and With The Beatles. The flip side is the more common but just as GREAT Roll over Beethoven, but JUST SEVENTEEN is the super rarity here, a mis-titled Beatles song. It’s very hard to find!! Usually on eBay only once a year or so. It is Number 30 on my List of Beatles Hard to Find Songs on 45 Singles Worldwide. Roll over Beethoven is worldwide common. Of course both are Mono.
