Description
THE BEATLES ‘65 vinyl LP Album. Original 1964 First-Press US CAPITOL RECORDS Release. In about 90% Shrink Wrap (opened.) So jacket is nice-and-clean and I’m great shape under the Shrink. The old $2.98 price sticker is on the shrink, not the jacket. Conservatively Graded vinyl EX EXCELLENT and jacket NM. These old Beatles are quite scarce now. The vinyl has some light marks but is glossy, clean and is the old vintage thicker, better vinyl. I have never cleaned my Records with these modern possibly destructive methods. All I ever did was use maybe a light anti-static cloth to remove dust. There is a small about 1.5” split on bottom-edge of jacket. MATRIX NUMBERS given in “Item Details “ also include a “superscript “1” after the “9s” on each side; also, 2-3 very small symbols / cyphers. Jacket spine where Artist and Title are, NEAR-MINT.
Original inner-sleeve is the Capitol “Teen Set” membership info and coupon, with contemporary 1964 Capitol Records Vinyl LP Album offerings featured on both sides of the sleeve. Black Capitol “Color Band” Labels with the Capitol Logo on top. as-appropriate for this First Press. Capitol used these Labels 1962 - 1968. Conservatively Graded as I always like to do. Another person may grade the vinyl NM—it’s close.
I believe this was Pressed at Capitol Scranton, PA (near me.) I am a long-time Collector of Vinyl, and I used-to work in the Industry (Specialty Records Corp.) So I know the Labels and Releases of Records (not saying this is an easy study LOL I spent many years learning and working with the Labels, in all formats. Records LPs, 45 rpm singles, CDs, Cassette Tapes, plus DVDs later. Also early-on I worked with RCA Laserdiscs. Remember those? haha.) Buy with Confidence, please check my Feedback. This Beatles ‘65 vinyl Album is a real piece of Rock & Roll History. You don’t see these Beatles Records anymore, and believe me I didn’t see much when I was younger. I’ve had this album a long time and I paid $100 for it then, graded NM/NM with shrink wrap. Well-cared-for by myself for many years. Also currently Listed is another early BEATLES, A Hard Day’s Night EX/VG+ First US Pressing. Of course, if you purchase more than one vinyl album, I shall combine Shipping to save you some dough.
Additional protective vinyl sleeve included, to further protect this Record—especially the Shrink wrap. See the pictures. US Buyers Only please, from the lower 48 Continental States only please. THANK YOU as always, for looking and considering my Vinyl and other Offerings. You will not be disappointed if you purchase from me. Thanks.
