This auction is for a rare error pressing of the legendary Beatles LP 'Revolver' on the silver / black Parlophone label.

The 1982 estimate for the year of release is because this particular pressing carries an incredibly rare mispressing where side 2 is in MONO! I can only assume that this pressing came about when EMI reissued the mono run in 1982, and an XEX mono pressing plate was inadverantly left on the stereo production run, causing this very rare anomaly!

Such an error would surely have been caught by quality control and corrected very quickly! Copies with such errors only very, very rarely come up for sale!

The Cover : VG+

The cover is showing a little wear and tear but, overall, is holding up okay. The front is pretty clean with a little, light yellowing. There's a very light hint of disc impression and some little creases but nothing too serious. Top and bottom seams are both showing some light wear but are holding tight with no splits or tears. Back cover is looking nice with a little disc impression and some little creases around the edges. Inner Sleeve: VG

The original EMI inner is included. It's browned a little with a very light disc impression. there's this light brown spotting and the middle of the bottom seam has split about 2 or so inches. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX+/NM-

The playing surface has a lovely, crisp shine to it and only a few very light, faint little scuffs in places. Gorgeous vinyl!
