THE BEATLES A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES BUT GOLDIES 1 UK PRESSING IN MONO with the TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT on label! Comes with very rare company sleeve in excellent shape!
The mono covers of this release have a small, “mono” designation in the upper right front corner. “PMC 7016”, as well as, “Also available on Stereo No. PCS 7016” are printed on the back cover, upper right corner. The covers are printed by Garrod and Lofthouse , and no Ernest J Day mono covers have been confirmed.
EARLY STAMPERS:
- Matrix / Runout (Side A, variant 2): XEX 619-1G PG 1
- Matrix / Runout (Side B, variant 2): XEX 620-1G LL 1
COVERS: Front and back as you all can see look fab, all flaps look great with no splits, tears, stains or holes. Spine looks great and fully readable (see pics). Still very glossy like the day it was released! LABELS: Both sides look great, with some spindle marks but in excellent shape, you can see the KT code on side 2 AUDIO: Vinyl plays great throughout, some background noise but no skips, sticks, jumps of any kind, a tick here and there but that's it. A beautiful example of this great compilation SLEEVE: Company sleeve is very rare to find, moreover in this excellent condition, no tears or splits, FAB!
