BEATLES A Collection of Beatles Oldies (PCS 7016) Black/Yellow Original 1966 !!
Vinyl and labels in totally stunning condition !!
Comments: Most of the records listed in this batch come from a single very large collection of 3,000+ general classical records dating from about 1960 to the turn of the millennium. Unfortunately the collection had been cherry-picked for almost all the European pressings before I was introduced to it, but I did manage to pick a few items. In general the covers have suffered a little wear but the vinyl is in quite remarkable condition and has apparently been handled with great care. Unless stated otherwise below, the surfaces are lustrous and bear no defects to the vinyl - no nicks, scuffs or fingernail marks. The only contamination to be expected would be a little dust and possibly a faint fingerprint. I have play tested a random sample but not all items listed have been listened to. Mail me if you have any further questions before bidding. Do not ask me questions about condition etc. after placing your bid; by bidding you have accepted the item description.
Condition Cover: EX Nice and clean and flat both sides. There has been a fold to the top left corner and another much smaller top right. No writing anywhere, but the rear cover shows a little 'drag' from the printing process and the thin sleeve has been pulled very slightly wavy by laminate shrink. Having said that it remains highly presentable and looks lovely.
Condition Vinyl: NEAR MINT Disc shows a little dust only. On close examination I can see no defects at all on the vinyl surface or on the label, which shows just one 10mm spindle mark on side 1 label. The dead wax shows a first pressing with YEX 619 -1G and YEX 620 -1G and pretty much looks like it just came off the press. A really lovely copy.
Shipping: The shipping cost is clearly stated, all items are sent signed-for in new mailers with stiffening both sides - apologies for the cost of this but eBay and PayPal require proof of delivery. Please do not bid on items and then bleat about the shipping costs, instead complain to PayPal about requiring proof of delivery (good luck). Likewise, please do not bid if you do not have the money, your PayPal is suspended, your dog has just died or you are still living with your mum - payment is required within 7 days of auction end, no timewasters please.
Recent changes to UK postage prices mean that the cost has gone up a bit (again) but it is now possible to ship 2 single albums for the price of 1 worldwide, sometimes three. I will only charge you additional postage if the weight of your parcel requires it. I don't make money on shipping.
Pictures and Grading: is generally per UK Record Collector standards and the cover will only be graded if it is specific to the record. All gradings are visual only unless stated otherwise in the comments above. If you wish to have a more full explanation of grades, look here - plain black sleeves or company sleeves are not graded. The photos were done using my A3 scanner which sometimes leaves the colours looking a bit washed out which may make dirty labels look slightly brighter.Sometimes a dot pattern or stripes show and this is due to the interference of the scanner resolution with the dot printing of what is being scanned. It is also not that great on silver or gold print, making the print look fainter than it actually is.
