Description

The Beatles
A HARD DAY'S NIGHT
SUPER RARE FINAL '60S MONO PRESSING
NO "SOLD IN U.K." TEXT ON LABELS
ONE OF THE VERY LAST MONO PRESSINGS MADE BEFORE EMI'S MONO CATALOGUE WAS DISCONTINUTED. THIS IS THE LAST TIME THE ALBUM WAS EVER PRESSED IN MONO  APART FROM THE 1981 AND 2014 BOXSETS
PARLOPHONE PMC 1230: MATRIX NOs XEX 481-3N/XEX 482-3N

The vinyl is in Excellent + condition. Looks great, sounds great! Very few spindle trails and only some small spots of what looks like dirt on the record grooves, on small areas of both sides. It's completely superficial though, my stylus plays right through it and the whole record sounds phenomenal! Only a few small ticks at the end of "I Should Have Known Better" and some extremely small crackle at the end of each side. I think it could do with a good deep cleaning.
The original Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover is also in Excellent condition. It's the rarer "small mono" version, holding together great and looking the same! There's only some small nitpicks on the front and corners, spots of wear on the laminate, one or two thumbnail marks and the faintest signs of yellowing. The spine is lovely and readable and the opening is in nice shape too!
Comes with the original late '60s EMI records advertising inner sleeve and it's in near mint condition! Truly awesome example
Overall this is a lovely example of a rare variant of this album and I think it'd be a great addition to any Beatles collection!
Needledrops are available upon request.
I'm willing to combine postage on multiple purchases. Any questions, please give me a shout! Thank you
