Another from my personal collection of UK Beatles albums that I have acqumilated over a period of more than 45 years! I have more than 1000 UK Beatles albums alone in my collection, (I rarely ever purchased foreign pressings) I have always been fascinated even to this day, by the differences in the audio mixes from one vinyl to another which is why I have so many variations in my collection. Here on offer is a totally original 1973 issued copy of The Beatles 'A Hard Day's Night' featuring the Two boxed EMI / Parlophone labels. -2 -2 Matrix endings very early pressing over over 40 years old and in this near mint condition is very hard to ever find.
The rareaty and collectability about this album is that this has obviously barely ever been played, and in fact looks almost as unplayed in my opinion, which is quite rare on a 40 year old Beatles record, which are normally found played to death! The original and correct issue Garrod & Lofthouse laminated front only cover is in exceptional condition, unusually super glossy in appearance and white, (often seen very yellowed with age, not this one!) also the spine is nice and square, very near perfect without the normal crushing and all text is readable! The vinyl looks and sounds like the day thast it was purchased from new in my opinion!! I have Play tested the vinyl and recorded this for you to hear for your self in the player below, At very loud volume prior to listing The audio is very clear and vibrant throughout without signs of any distortion what so ever! I have graded the audio near as mint as I heard it in my opinion! Probably one of the best copies that you could ever hope for one of the best copies that I have heard!

A Hard Day's Night is the third studio album by English rock band the Beatles, released on 10 July 1964, with side one containing songs from the soundtrack to their film A Hard Day's Night.
The American version of the album was released two weeks earlier, on 26 June 1964 by United Artists Records, with a different track listing. This is the first Beatles album to be recorded entirely on four-track tape, allowing for good stereo mixes with the vocals in the center.
In contrast to their first two albums, all 13 tracks on A Hard Day's Night were written by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison showcasing the development of the band's songwriting talents. The album contains some of their most famous songs, including the title track, with its distinct, instantly recognisable opening chord, and the previously-released "Can't Buy Me Love"; both were transatlantic number-one singles for the band.
The title of the album was the accidental creation of drummer Ringo Starr. According to Lennon in a 1980 interview with Playboy magazine: "I was going home in the car and Dick Lester [director of the movie] suggested the title, 'Hard Day's Night' from something Ringo had said. I had used it in 'In His Own Write', but it was an off-the-cuff remark by Ringo. You know, one of those malapropisms. A Ringo-ism, where he said it not to be funny ... just said it. So Dick Lester said, 'We are going to use that title.'"
In 2000, Q placed A Hard Day's Night at number five in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever. In 2012, A Hard Day's Night was voted 307th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".
Musically, A Hard Day's Night eschews the rock and roll cover songs of the band's previous albums for a predominantly pop sound. Sputnikmusic's Dave Donnelly observes "short, peppy" pop songs characterised by layered vocals, immediate choruses, and understated instrumentation.
According to Pitchfork Media's Tom Ewing, the lack of rock and roll covers allows listeners to "take the group's new sound purely on its own modernist terms", with audacious "chord choices", powerful harmonies, "gleaming" guitar, and "Northern" harmonica. Music journalist Robert Christgau writes that Lennon–McCartney's songs were "more sophisticated musically" than before.
Side one of the LP contains the songs from the movie soundtrack. Side two contains songs written for, but not included in, the film, although a 1980s re-release of the movie includes a prologue before the opening credits with "I'll Cry Instead" on the soundtrack.
A Hard Day's Night is the first Beatles album to feature entirely original compositions, and the only one where all the songs were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
Lennon dominates the song writing being the primary author of ten out of the thirteen tracks on the album, all except "And I Love Her", "Can't Buy Me Love", and "Things We Said Today". This is also one of three Beatles albums, along with Let It Be and Magical Mystery Tour, in which Starr does not sing lead vocal on any songs. Starr sang the lead vocal on "Matchbox" during the sessions; it appeared instead on the Long Tall Sally EP.

The Vinyl
The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warps, (I have double checked this there is no warping). The vinyl has retained its original sheen from new and I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface! Only close inspection could there possibly be light wyspy surface marks sleeve removal type only, (I find itvery hard to see any at all) but importantly there are no audio sounding marks or needle marks that would cause any loud annoying constant clicks or pops that I heard at all!
The audio quality
I have played this track for track at very loud volume prior to listing at very loud volume. From the moment that the needle hits the playing surface , it is obvious that this vinyl not only visually but audibly has barely ever been played in my opinion! The audio is stunning crystal clear and vibrant, very bright and clear throughout without any signs of distortion at all and plays with a lovely deep bassey feel only found like this on early pressings! I would grade the audio near mint in my opinion! The Best that you could possibly find! Certainly one of the best copies that I have heard, so hard to find!
Please Note! I always add this disclaimer. This vinyl has been laying dormant in a case for over 40 years! A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/crackle. A constant cleaning before each play is highly recommended. This wil reduce any static and enhance the audio quality! It is noted that I saw debrit on the playing surface after play, A constant cleaning will reduce any static! Please remmember that this vinyl is an original 40 years old and would have been played on an original 40 year old record player!
The Labels
These are the original Blac/Silver EMI/PARLOPHONE labels feature ''EMI Records....'' Rim text around the labels (only early 1970s issued UK press.) The labels are rich in color and are very clean all text is readable. It is obvious to me that this vinyl has only had very minimal play only . The spindle hole is free of any wear and of course is perfectly round! Amazingly I find it hard to find any spider marks at all. Very Very rare to find Looks almost as new in my opinion! There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round!

This is the original plain white EMI serpier sleeve no splits or tares light creasing/staining/yellowing with age only! Features 'Made In Great Britain and patent number"
The Cover
This Is The Original UK issue Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated front only cover (medium'Stereo" logo on the front (only 1970s pressings) in absolutely tip top stunning condition through out! Lovely and white with no signs of yellowing, No splits or tares. The original square ended spine is near perfect and square no crushing/creasing all text is readable! What makes this so unbelievable , No nasty creases to report so rare to find like this! Very minor small line creases at the spine I can just count two or three tiny lines not really noticable at all in my opinion No nasty ringware! Note! There are slight vinyl impression noticed at the rear from when the vinyl was stored externally but not really noticed unless looked for in my opinion. The cover has always been seperated from the vinyl and sleeve since purchased from new! The rear is also lovely, clean and bright! no nasty names written no creases and amazingly no nasty ringware! Unbeleivably rare like this! Graded at least better than excellent plus,, Near Mint in my opinion! Never need to upgrade from this cover!
