Description

My clearout continues!

I'm now clearing our a batch of classic rock, prog and 60's LPs that I bought in a collection a few years back, a pretty complete collection but I don't really need all the titles. Watch this space for more titles.......

you're bidding for:

BEATLES - A Hard Day's Night RARE Outline Stereo sleeve UK vinyl LP VG/VG

cat: PCS 3058 matrix:    YEX 126-1   YEX 127-1  stampers:

The vinyl grades as a VG, still with lots of original gloss but has many light marks and withdrawalscuffs on each sie, none are deep or heavy but lots are visible when held up to a bright light. It play grades as a strong VG, with ocassional light crackle but for large sections it plays as VG+ with great reproduction, no distortion and no crackle, however this is not always present and is generally overpowered by the fantastic mono reproduction.

The front laminated sleeve also grades as VG, it's pretty glossy and flat, with solid sharp corners and a nice legible spine. The front of the sleeve would grade as VG+ and the important Outline stereo text is nice and clean on the white border. However the unlaminated rear has some ring wear, some yellowing and a few large-ish grubby marks. All flipbacks are flat and intact but also grubby and soiled around the edge, as such the rear and therefore the whole sleeve can only grade as VG. (Noy sure if this can be cleaned up or not?)
Both Parlophone labels are VG+ with light to moderate spindle wear, no KT tax code and no stickers or writing. This appears to be the 3rd press (1966-69) with the Gramophone rim text, Sold in the UK but no Recording first published. The red and white advertising inner is VG with light creases and yellowing.
Smoke free, pet free house. Good luck bidding!
