Description
Stampers: XEX 481/2 - 3N.
Run-off grooves have as follows: Side 1 - nothing @ 9 o'clock, GOA1 @ 3 o'clock. Side 2 - 8 @ 9 o'clock, RRD @ 3 o'clock. Parlophone Co. on rim. "Sold in UK..." under Parlophone logo. Mono 1st Label, Variation A When the LP was first released it featured a new type-set that had not been seen on any Beatles album in the past. This type was chubby and rounded and only lasted a short time but as so many copies were pressed initially to satisfy the preorders, it is the style most commonly seen for this album.
Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve with flip-back inners.
UK vinyl LP in laminated sleeve with "Use Emitex" glassine inner sleeve.
Disc is near mint, the cleanest copy we've seen in a long time and it plays excellently, there are a few barely noticeable hairlines from sleeve withdrawl, but it is bright shiny and sounds amazing.
Sleeve is excellent, crisp laminate and just light edge wear where laminate runs out.
