BEATLES - A Hard Day's Night - UK Parlophone LP 3N/3N press
These records are all from my personal collection built up over almost 50 years. Some were bought new, others pre-owned so condition will vary. Please do read and understand the detailed description which is my honest personal assessment - you can always check how good or bad that is by checking my feedback. My attempt at grading is based on the commonly used Record Collector grading system. Questions are welcome if anything is unclear. Happy bidding

The Album:
Hardly a rarity, but a classic. I remember buying this copy jointly with my sister at Valance's in Leeds - we forked out sixteen shillings each. Maybe not the smartest of moves as there were tussles later as to who had custody - I obviously had to concede some other favour to have ended up with it. It has emerged in decent condition from its 50 years on the planet. It seems to have the stuff people look for like 'The Parlophone Co Ltd,' 'Recording first published 1964' and 'Sold in U.K.' label text and an embossed KT tax code - and it plays really well.
Cover: Single G&L front-laminated flipback sleeve is in pretty good order. There's a touch of laminate creasing, faint ringwear, hardly any edge wear. The only problem is some foxing/light staining to the predominantly white unlaminated rear. It's nice and strong and keeping great shape with no tears, stickers or writing. The spine is strong and well defined with all text perfectly legible. EMI Emitex poly lined inner is undamaged apart from a bit of creasing.
Labels: Bright clean Parlophone labels. No stickers or writing, quite a few spindle marks as might be expected
Vinyl: Vinyl has a number of the expected paper scrapes and a few faint hairline marks but nothing nasty. I played it through completely and it plays really well throughout - there is light background crackling in the run in grooves between tracks but nothing which particularly interferes with the music audio.
Overall:
A very decent nice copy of the classic album - I'd guess it would professionally grade at (cover/vinyl) VG+ / VG+

Please note that I try to test-play at least part of each record before listing, but do not have time to play fully in all cases. Postage: Reflecting new Royal Mail charges April 2014: Within UK, weight ranges usually allow up to three LPs to be posted for the same cost as one. For all other destinations costs are weight dependent, but incremental cost from additional LP's will normally cost less than the first. I am happy to hold records for a while if you wish to bid on more and combine shipment, but it helps if you can let me know particularly when bidding on items separated by a few days. Approximate prices for normal postage & packing -
UK £3.55 for up to 1kg (1,2 or 3 average weight LPs).
Europe £5.50 normal airmail, £10.50 signed-for. + £1.45 each additional,
Rest of world £7.80 normal airmail, £12.80 signed-for. + £2.70 each additional item
These amounts include actual Royal Mail cost for first class or air mail, plus 35p for cost of packaging material (a brand new custom mailer with stiffener). The greedy snouts in the trough at Ebay now charge sellers 10% of postage costs for which there can be no justification - I refuse to pass this shameful levy on to buyers, so you only pay post and packing.
Apologies, but owing to unreliability of some postal services, I will not ship to Italy, Russian Federation, & other former Soviet countries unless a signed for service is selected and paid for.
Losses: Royal Mail have reduced maximum compensation to £20 unless items are signed-for. Compensation on signed-for shipments is up to £50. Overseas purchasers - if your purchase is well over £20, a signed for service must be selected when paying or shipping will be at your own risk, not mine, and normal airmail will only be covered for up to £20.

I have decided to sell my whole vinyl collection as I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or grandchildren, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. Listed items are selected at random so there should be a decent if not particularly logical mix coming up over the next few months if you keep an eye on my other items now and in the future.
