NOTES
The first Beatles album that featured all original, own compositions as a beautiful first press! It's the slightly rarer Label Variation B (where the line Songs from the film A Hard Day’s Night is not printed as wide on the label as on common variation A).
KT Tax Stamp sits on Side A. Record's inner sleeve is a "neutral" British "patent" one.

Please note that the American UNITED ARTISTS's release, who also financed the Fab Four's first movie, (U.S., June 26, 1964, UNITED ARTISTS UAL 3366 -mono-, UAS 6366 -stereo-) features some earlier mono-mixes of some of the songs that are not available on the British mono album. Same applies to the American album Something New (U.S. July 20, 1964, Capitol T 2108 -mono-, ST 2108 -stereo-), but not to the very rare German release of Something New (Germany, September 10, 1964, Green Odeon O 83756 -mono-, R/W/G Odeon ST[M]O 83756 -stereo-, EXPORT only). back to TOP

1st Class Packaging

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves. Finally, all items are being wrapped with thick bubble foil and go to a professional record mailer.

For packaging, we use brand-new material & items only. Whatever eBay MIGHT display: INSURED, SIGNED-IN, TRACKED SHIPPING IS FREE. ANY DESTINATION ON THIS PLANET.
(PLEASE NOTE that pictured record is an EXAMPLE only. It is NOT the item up for auction. Thank you.)

(plain) Label Side A   EX- Label Side B   EX Vinyl Side A   VG+ Vinyl Side B   VG+   Audio Grading   Side A   EX Side B   EX+   We use superb vinyl equipment with its heart being an Ortofan Diamond System and gold plated contacts all around.
Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is in a perfectly readable shape.
Cover is completely glossy. Name on front, hardly readable, see detail-picture of front side's top. Small cut on rim, hence EX- "only". Vinyl is shiny.

Regarding audio, plays perfectly thru no jumps, skips, disturbing noises, except for audible bg noise at I Want You.

Please keep in mind that an opinion is bound to be subjective. Refer to pictures, provided extensively.
For a short explanation of applied grading, please see remarks on every listing's bottom of page.   back to TOP   Pictures (all pictures taken by our NIKON D3200 24 MP prior to auction)   back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP back to TOP     More rare Collectibles ~ already on auction, or soon to come (all records 2nd, 3rd, or 4th/whatever copies from our own collection)   France, 1st, OSX 231, Horse-Cover France, 1st, Dark Blue Odeon OSX 230 U.K., 1st, PCS 3071, STEREO Sans Serif U.K., 1st, PMC 7067/68, MONO, # 0004606 Germany, 1st, Green Odeon OPX 82 U.K, 1st, SMMT 1/2, pic book BLUE lyric sheet, NEAR MINT
