  • COUNTRY: Made in DDR (Made in Great Britain auf Label ist überdruckt und damit unkenntlich gemacht worden)
  • RELEASE DATE: P&C 1966 / early 70s in DDR (Intershop)
  • LABELSTAMP: black Parlophone ohne “Great Britain”- Icon
  • COVER: Original laminated sleeve.
  • CONDITION: Record vg++ / Cover vg++ to mint-
  • FACTS:

    1. Lizenzübernahme des VEB Deutsche Schallplatten für den ausschließlichen Verkauf in den exDDR-Touristshops (Intershops). Die LP wurde im ostdeutschen Presswerk in Babelsberg hergestellt, das Cover im Original vom westdeutschen Lizenzgeber als Fertigprodukt geliefert. Konfektioniert wurde die LP in Babelsberg und dann zum Verkauf an die ostdeutschen Intershops ausgeliefert.
    2. This BEATLES license issue was manufactured by East German Record Company VEB Deutsche Schallplatten for sale only in East German Tourist Shops named “Intershop”. This is a very rare and exotic BEATLES issue, only to recognize on typical Wax-Number from VEB Deutsche Schallplatten (different from original West German and other pressings outside East Germany).
    3. Als spezielle ostdeutsche Pressung ist die LP ausschließlich am Design der Matrix-Prägung (= 'Fingerabdruck' eines jeden Vinylherstellers!) in der Auslaufrille erkennbar. Außerdem wurde das „Made in Gt. Britain“ auf dem Label durch silber-farbigen Balken unkenntlich gemacht.
