Item Description/Condition:
A HIGHLY RESPECTABLE example of The Beatles FIRST ISSUE UK Apple Vinyl LP, 'ABBEY ROAD', released by EMI/Apple on 26 September 1969 on the Custom DARK GREEN APPLE label, with 'Apple Records' label rim , 'Mfd in UK' label text and WITHOUT’Her Majesty’ credited to the side 2 record label. The ORIGINAL Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated sleeve features the RARE, MIS-ALIGNED Apple logo to the reverse – aligned nearer to the edge of the sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are in Excellent condition, an UNDAMAGED, BRIGHT and CLEAN Set of record labels, with no more than a few faint spider trails.
Both sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl Disc are in clean Excellent condition, BRIGHT Vinyl surfaces, with only a few light surface hairlines.
The Official stamped trail out groove information is: Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 Matrix YEX 750-1.
Side 1 stampers: 4/RDG and Side 2 stampers: 10/RMD.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an ORIGINAL Made in Gt Britain record bag, which is in very good condition, with some mild creasing, and age toning, but NO seam splits.
The album is housed in its ORIGINAL and FULLY LAMINATED, Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve featuring the RARE, MIS-ALIGNED Apple logo to the reverse of the sleeve.
The Glossy FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated MIS-ALIGNED Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in RESPECTABLE excellent condition, the front and back laminate is very GLOSSY and the colours have remained BRIGHT and VIVID, showing mild corner bumps, and mild record indentation to the fromt and back.
Play Quality:
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL through all the tracks without any skips or clicks.
Overall an IMPRESSIVE example of this Collectable, ORIGINAL UK Beatles Album, released 42 years ago.
