Description

The Beatles
Abbey Road
Apple PCS 7088 1969 UK LP
with Apple logo misaligned on rear cover and No 'Her Majesty' credit on label ..
matrix numbers: YEX 749-2/YEX 750-1 First Pressing -

Desirable Beatles Abbey Road album having both the label and sleeve mispressings making this the one to have, Pressed only for a short time before these two misprints were picked up and changed ..
I have played this album through and it's a pleasure to listen to - clear crisp sound merits a high grading - obviously no annoying skips or jumps like some you will find just a great sounding Beatles album from start to finish just as it should be - important on an album like Abbey Road -
Visually vinyl is glossy clean and bright showing clear unworn grooves - side1 on close inspection has a couple of very light superficial hairline marks which do not affect sound in any way properly graded EX+ side2 closer to N/Mint it's a really lovely piece of vinyl .. Side 2 Label omits the credit text for Her Majesty ..
Sleeve is in remarkable condition, lamination is sparklingly clear and bright all facings front and back are unmarked and this still has a new glossy feel to it - small rub mark on top corner is all you would be hard pushed to find another like it , graded at least EX++N/M and showing the all important misaligned Apple logo on the rear, comes complete with white inner .. difficult to find a better Abbey Road example than this ..
