Another from my personal Collection of over 1000 Beatles album that I have accumulated over the past 45 years or more. The vinyl sounds absolutely stunning on my systems , played at very loud volume prior to listing on a top system! I heard no loud clicks or pops at all! This vinyl has barely ever been played no more than a handful of times only! ,  So rare to find on any early Beatles original vinyl. This is not only so rare for its audio quality but this pressing features the original thick and chunky slab of vinyl which produces the best audio available in my opinion! The vinyl was pressed from the earliest masters and is stamped with the earliest possible matrix for this pressing! The original Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated cover is also in truly exceptional condition for 40 years old! So rare to ever find like this!

This pressing is extreemly rare and sought after not only because of its superbe condition but it has the earliest matrix stamped and is the corrected version with ''her majesty'' on the labels!!!This has -1 -2 There wern't many of these pressed  before the matrix was changed to -2 -3 known as 2nd pressings! This has been in my personal collection for more than 25 years and has always been stored in a case with the viny seperated from the sleeve and cover! This is how I have always stored my records!!!!!!

PLEASE NOTE! THIS PRESSINGS AUDIO IS THE VERY REASON WHY I HAVE COLLECTED SO MANY UK BEATLES ALBUMS OVER THE PAST 35 YEARS OR MORE! IN MY OPINION THE MIX AND SOUND IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! EVERY NOW AND THEN YOU COME ACROSS A VERY SPECIAL COPY, THIS IS IT! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FACINATED THAT WHEN I PLAY THESE EARLY PRESSINGS THAT I HEAR DIFFERENT SOUNDS, INSTRUMENTS AND SOME PRODUCE A REAL RICH AND BASSEY FEEL! THIS AUDIO PLAYED AT LOUD VOLUME ON A TOP SYSTEM IN MY PERSONAL OPINION IS TOP!! VERY VERY RARE TO FIND INDEED!!

Abbey Road is the eleventh official album released by The Beatles. Although its release preceded that of Let It Be, it was the last album to be recorded, and is therefore widely considered as the band's swan song. It was released on September26 1969 in the UK and October 1, 1969 in the US. It was produced and orchestrated by George Martin for Apple Records. Geoff Emerick was the engineer and Tony Banks, tape operator. It is considered one of the Beatles' most tightly constructed albums, although John Lennon dismissed the album in later years, possibly because its focal point ó "The Long Medley" ó was designed almost entirely by Paul McCartney!!.

The Labels

ON THE APPLE LABELS''Mfd in the UK'' featured (only UK press) ''Sold In The UK......'' text is featured across the labels only earliest press. very (very) limited spidering can be seen angled to the light only seen on side 2. in fact i can only see two or three on this side only (this has only ever been played three or four times ever) Little if  (no) spindleware the hole is perfectly round! You can still see the plastic in the spindle hole Unbeleivable to find!

The Vinyl

The vinyl lays perfetly flat on the turntable! On initial inspection this looks absolutely stunning almost like new! Still retains its natural glossy mirror sheen from new! In fact I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface at all! Any marks that could possibly be seen in strong light wouldd be sleeve removal only but like I said I can't see anything!. Importantly there were no marks or scratches that would cause any loud clicks or pops!,   

The Audio quality!

THIS IS STUNNING! I have played this track for track on a top! system at very loud volume prior to listing! The audio is graded at the very top! on all frequencies! I haven't heard much better! (no) clicks or pops certainly (no) skips or jumps! THE AUDIO IS CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT ON ALL FREQUENCIES! Most importantly (no) nasty surface or background noise can be heard during the audio!,, that is so often common on this pressing! and quite unbeleivable for this early 43 year old Beatles album! Any interference would be minor isolated static type tick perhapes heard in quieter place only! I heard in one isolated place only at the intro to 'You Never Give Me Your Money', some light static type crackle for one revolution only. That's all!  Aprt from this in my opinion this played almost as good as it gets!  I would class myself as highly critical! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right! I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to very near perfect as it could be on my systems near mint!

Please note, I always add this disclaimer!Please allow for the odd isolated static crackle tick\ticks only really herard during some quiet places! mainly caused by dirt or dust build up over the years of laying dormant! A constant clean is recomended before each play! ,, this would drastically reduce this and would greatly improve the audio quality! I must emphise! THE AUDIO PLAYS THROUGH  CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT WITH ABSOLUTELY (NO) SIGNS OF DISTORTION OR THAT THIS HAS BEEN OVERPLAYED AT ALL !TOP COPY!!

The record sleeve

This is the original plain white patented paper sleeve! Becoming fragile with age and has creases but amaizingly no edge splits. This is the original and is now always stored seperately from the vinyl.

The Cover

This is the original FULLY LAMINATED (GARROD & LOFTHOUSE) printed cover! Amaizingly (no) real nasty storageware to mention any there are you would have to look hard to notice, just very light corner bumping top left corner only noticed at the front (see photos) Amaizingly there are no other creases to mention, very rare to find!  The rear is exceptionaly clean without the normally found grubby marks any storageware is very very minor indeed! Any rubbing ware is very minimal indeed!  THIS IS STRONG AND STRAIGHT a superbe example ORIGINAL! This must be at least excellent to excellent plus  in my opinion!! very rare to find in this condition more than 43 years old!
