DECCA CONTRACT PRESSING
STAMPER,SIDE ONE~ 9 &12 NO LETTERS, SIDE TWO ~ 3 NO LETTERS.
This has got to be the rarest Beatles album that I have sold...this is a virtually unheard of 1EMI box 1969 export contract pressing of Abbey Road.
Whilst at the same time Parlophone were overloaded pressing the yellow and black export issues small amounts of this pressing were contracted out to Decca and PYE.This particular pressing is even rarer as it was pressed at Decca's Barbados factory!
The labels have the infamous Decca ring and they do not have any lettering for the dead wax stampers which only parlophone used, I personally have never seen this for sale on Ebay in 5 years of dealing on here nor have I seen it anywhere else,I have read about it once! this really goes to show just how rare this item is.
Conditon~The labels and vinyl show virtually no signs of use making this a very strong MINT - ,it is simply stunning,there is no spindle wear and no marks of anykind on the vinyl.The sleeve is EXCELLENT with only slight storage wear.
With regards to valueing this it is hard but the nearest comparison that I have found was on "The Beatles price guide" site

I cannot over enfersize the rarity of this press and I just hope that whoever wins this will keep it and appreciate it.
