The Beatles "Abbey Road"
UK 1969 "EXPORT" pressing
black & silver '1-EMI-Box' Parlophone label PPCS 7088
with 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' rims & 'Made In Gt. Britain' text
housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' with a (probably) aligned Apple
gold sticker is present
matrices: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
stampers: 4 OGA & 4 ?D?
this is very tricky for my eyes and even harder to take a picture, it looks something
like UDII or IIDII or whatever with a D in the middle, stamped vertically. The first
and third letter look like parallel lines, almost like a box. Surely an expert will know.
vinyl : VG+ to VG (Side-1 with no major flaw, fine hairlines present, visible
under bright light. Side-2 with two scratches, the longer being about 3cm.
No jumps or skips.)
cover: VG++ (some minor creasing and a minimal amount of ringwear.
Golden sticker slightly wavy. Name impressed, visible only at right (or wrong) angle.

Mint: A brand new, SEALED record, never played
NM: Near mint, an unsealed record that looks as good as new
VG++ : Excellent, very minor surface marks, not audible on play
VG+ : light surface marks, mild surface noice, few sporadic tics up and there, but should sound fine overall
VG : more consistent noice or defects, or light scratches, no skip
Good : Noisy, but plays through. I will only sell rare or unusual items in this condition

NM : close to new
VG++: well preserved, minimal wear
VG+ : well preserved cover, but sign of wear
VG : more pronounced defects, discoloration, slight delamination, writing
