I RECEIVED THIS ALBUM WHEN I BOUGHT PART OF A COLLECTION FROM A MAN WHO HAD INHERITED THE RECORDS FROM HIS FATHER, WHO HE TOLD ME WAS FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THAT'S ALL I KNOW ABOUT WHERE THE ALBUM CAME FROM. I RECEIVED OTHER BEATLES AND ELVIS ALBUMS FROM THE PART OF THE COLLECTION I BOUGHT. MANY HAVE BEEN SOLD ON EBAY ALREADY. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THIS NUMBER (A0000001) WAS PUT ON 7-10 ALBUMS TO GIVE TO RECORD COMPANY VIPS. IT'S THE FIRST ONE I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE MAN I BOUGHT IT FROM TOLD ME IT DID NOT COME WITH THE INSERTS. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT WAS THE WAY THE ALBUM WAS GIVEN OR IF THEY WERE JUST LOST. IF THE WINNER OF THIS ALBUM FINDS OUT THAT IT SHOULD HAVE HAD THE INSERTS, I WILL TAKE THE INSERTS OUT OF ANOTHER LOW NUMBERED WHITE ALBUM I HAVE. THE ALBUM SHOWS SIGNS OF WEAR AND ABOUT A HALF INCH SPLIT ON TOP RIGHT SEAM. SOME LIGHT STAINS. NO WRITING.
THE LP LABELS HAVE THE FIRST PRESSING ERRORS: OBLADI OBLADA (SHOULD BE "OB-LA-DI OB-LA-DA"); BUNGALOW BILL (INSTEAD OF "THE CONTINUING STORY OF BUNGALOW BILL"); ROCKY RACOON (RACCOON IS MISSPELLED).

I have been told by some that this album is not genuine and by other that it may be. I do not know enough about this album to be any kind of expert. I will leave it up for auction with the understanding that all buyer bid at your own risk. I do not claim the album to be genuine or not. That is for you to decide. Ask your question and I will answer them quickly and honestly. Like I said, I have sold other Beatles albums from this collection in the past, including a, what turned out to be a genuine Third State Butcher album.
