The Beatles - 'Get Back' LP. APPLE ????

The Beatles incredibly rare West German stereo DEMO TEST PRESSING of the ill fated 'Get Back' LP. Originally due to be released in 1969 the album was beset with problems from the start. It was ultimately unreleased in this format as this demo pressing was produced by George Martin. The whole package is offered in stunning EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.

I will not go into the full story behind the recording of the LP but a wealth of information can be found on Google or Wikipedia. As I sure many people know this album eventually ended up being released as 'Let It Be' years after the original recording sessions had begun in 1968. A total of three variations of the 'Get Back / Let It Be' album were completed with three different producers - George Martin, Glyn Johns and Phil Spector.

This rare white label DEMO TEST PRESSING is the earliest variation produced by George Martin. The album features a number of unreleased tracks which failed to make it on to Phil Spector's final version 'Let It Be'. The vinyl is housed within an EMI advertising inner sleeve. English language to one side and German language to the other. It comes complete with a English language press release insert written by Mal Evans which describes the recording of this LP. A very rare LP in stunning condition.

The vinyl is in MINT- condition. SIMPLY STUNNING, LOOKS UNPLAYED.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+/MINT- condition.

The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Seam splits to three edges.

The press release insert is in MINT- condition.
