Description
Walls Ice Cream E.P (Promotional Issue Only). UK Pressing. Apple CT.1.
This is an original 1969 UK Apple / Walls Ice Cream promotional E.P. It was available ONLY through mail order in the UK from a Walls Ice Cream promotional campaign in July 1969.
The E.P features four Apple recording artists - The Iveys (later changed their name to Badfinger) 'Storm in a Teacup', James Taylor 'Something's Wrong', Jackie Lomax 'Little Yellow Pill' and Mary Hopkin 'Pebble and the Man'. This comes housed within the original picture sleeve. Two of the Beatles, George Harrison and Paul McCartney were producers on this E.P.
As this record was a promotional item for Apple it never charted. As such it is now a rare item for both 1960's and Beatles collectors.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
Both labels are in VERY GOOD condition. These would grade much higher but for writing on side 2 (see picture).
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD condition.
