The Beatles 'Abbey Road' - Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) Audiophile LP
This is a rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) audiophile pressing of the Beatles classic album 'Abbey Road', from the Mobile Fidelity box set. This release was mastered at half speed from the original master tapes, and pressed onto pure super vinyl by JVC, which has an extraordinarily quiet playing surface, extreme durability and a lifespan many times exceeding conventional pressings. The vinyl is so pure that its translucent when held up to the light. This is arguably the best sounding release of this album ever available, with far superior dynamic range, top-end and better stereo separation. On an A to B comparison with a standard pressing, this release is far superior, sounding much fresher and full of life! Amazing sonics, especially on the hard rocking tracks like 'She Came in Through the Bathroom Window'!
Rarely played, vinyl is near mint (NM). The sleeve is near mint (NM), including a photo of the master tape box with notes on the recording. The sleeve includes a cardboard inner protector and rice paper inner-sleeve. The complete box often sells for upward of £800.
