Description
A genuine unused clothing label from the short-lived Beatles 1968 Apple Boutique. They were designed by the Dutch collective called 'The Fool' in their trademark psychedelic palette as used for the mural painted outside the Boutique in Baker Street. They were also commissioned to decorate various cars, homes and instruments owned by the Beatles and other famous musicians of the period.
The elaborate four colour silk design meant the labels cost as much to make as the clothes they were sewn into! See link: http://vintagefashionguild.org/label-resource/apple/
Measuring just the embroidered area not the white backing material the size is: 72mm (H) x 68mm (W).
