Up for auction is a factory sealed  copy of the Beatles' 1964 STEREO Capitol Records release, The Beatles' Second Album.

This sealed LP is, for all practical purposes, in factory new/mint condition. It has a factory breathe hole in the shrinkwrap on the front of the LP. There are NO cutout holes or writing anywhere on this LP. It is quite beautiful. (See the pictures below). The only flaw in the shrinkwrap is a small (and still very tight) tear along seal of the shrink at the very top of the LP cover, perhaps an inch long. It does not detract at all from the LP's beauty and is really hardly noticeable. Otherwise, the shrinkwrap is smooth and crisp all around. There is also a tear UNDERNEATH the shrink, on the carboard, about two inches long, right along the edge of the slick, where it meets the cardboard (PLEASE see photo below). This flaw is BENEATH the factory seal. There is also a slight "crinkle" in the cardboard to the left of the tear, also underneath the shrink. The album, however, lies perfectly flat and is beautifully clean.

The slick is perfectly centered on the front, and the "File Under" designation at the upper right-hand corner is clearly visible along with the "stereo" dot.

The cover is very much near perfect. Even the four corners of the LP cover are near perfect.

This LP is a later Jacksonville pressing, featuring the number "9" by the RIAA symbol on the jacket's back bottom. The cover is constructed in the original Capitol Records style with a cover slick over cardbaord and does NOT feature the RIAA Gold Records Award on the front.
