Description
THE BEATLES BOX
EAS-77011-18
EMI/ODEON - JAPAN
Recently acquired from a large collection, this set of 8 albums is complete and in near mint condition.
The set consists of 124 Beatles tracks arranged chronologically from Love Me Do, the group's first Parlophone single, to Her Majesty, the final cut on Abbey Road. The eight individual LPs were untitled. Each cover featured a previously unpublished color photo of the Beatles on the front and extensive liner notes detailing their career during the period represented by the album's songs on the back. The box was designed to look like a wooden shipping crate, carrying the words "From Liverpool" stenciled in black ink across the top, along with a small snapshot of the Beatles pasted across the front of the crate.
Included is a 20 page lyric booklet in both English and Japanese and a twelve-page chronology of the group. The outer box is very good condition with a few scuffs and torn corners on the lower corners of the lid. All of the album jackets are mint. The vinyl discs are mint and appear un-played. They appear to have never been out of their sleeves. I am not a record expert or dealer so these are my observations.
OVERALL CONDITION OF THE COMPLETE SET IS EXCELLENT TO NEAR MINT
