Description
BEATLES BUTCHER COVER 2ND STATE #6 UNPEELED
I've been asked many times about offering a genuine Butcher Cover in a lower price range that folks could afford. While this Butcher Cover is far from perfect, the front cover is not too awful and heck , the price is right ! Here's a chance to own a Genuine 100% Authentic 1966 Capitol Records Unpeeled Beatles Butcher Cover (Album Jacket Only) for less than $350 on Buy It Now or even less than $300 if you want to take a chance and wait the auction out. Read On...
This Butcher Cover is priced at a small fraction of what some Butcher Covers have been selling for. If you are looking for exaggerated condition and exclamation points, you won't find it here. I have sold many Butcher Covers at great prices and my buyers have nothing but nice things to say except for one buyer who never complained about condition , ignored a full refund , and then posted negative after requesting items that weren't included in the auction . So please , I request that if you have questions or aren't sure , please dont bid . I don't play games and only request the same in return. I offer prompt shipping and deliver what I promise every time.
Up for auction is an authentic 1966 #6 West Coast Capitol Records maufactured 2nd State (UnPeeled) Butcher Cover . Auction is for the jacket only, sorry no record or inner sleeve included. Yes, this is 1000% the real deal so please don't email asking if this is a reproduction. If you look closely, you can clearly see Ringo's black turtleneck (see last photo). Please note that small arrow pointing at Ringo's turtleneck is not printed on cover just on darkened photograph for demostration purposes. Regardless, Ebay buyer protection guarantees your satisfaction and so do I . If you don't like it, return it in the condition that you received it for a full refund.
This one is an entry level piece that has not been attempted to be peeled with some visible condition considerations. Please read the auction text carefully before bidding. Nice Condition Peeled (3rd state) Butcher Covers have recently commanded prices in the thousands on Ebay. I've placed a modest reserve on this and a reasonable Buy It Now price for those who don't want to fight it out for the duration of the auction. My last Butcher Cover sold quickly on Buy It Now so if you are interested, bookmark the auction and keep an eye on it. This is a great price on a unpeeled butcher . Take and chance on this Butcher Cover and give it a good home.
Auction is for the Butcher Cover jacket only. No inner sleeve or record.
As I said in the introduction, there are some condition issues on this Butcher and although it is far from near mint condition, it is still a worthwhile entry level unpeeled Butcher that has not been attempted to be peeled .
Many people only dream of owning a genuine treasure such as this and are willing to tolerate a few condition issues in order to save several hundred dollars.
This jacket, as seen in the photos, exhibits some staining and discoloration, the worst of which, is confined to the back. There is some staining/paper loss at very top on the back of the jacket and some minor discoloration near the top and some spots in the lower right hand corner of the front. Top seam doesn't appear to be split but shows some wear and balding. Bottom seam is mostly complete with just an inch or so of wear on the ends. Spine is mostly complete with most writing present at top with a little wear at very top and a few inches of cracking and paper wear at the bottom. Nothing too out of the ordinary.
But Hey, it's a real 1966 Butcher Cover and as nice ,if not better, than some of the unpeeled Butchers that you generally see that sell in the $300 - $450 range .This is a guaranteed original 1966 Capitol 3rd state Butcher cover and NOT a reproduction, bootleg or counterfeit. Your Butcher Cover will be professionally packed in a Japanese style protective sleeve.
Free Shipping through the US only. Payment is to made within 3 days of auction end. I will ship this internationally but unfortunately buyer must pay for Fed Ex international express due to Ebay protection poilicy requirements. International buyers are responsible for all duty taxes which can be expensive. This is a used jacket being sold in "as is" condition. This auction and this auction is stricly for the actual items seen and described.Happy Bidding !
