This is a great price on a genuine 1966 peeled Scranton #3 Butcher Cover that you can actually buy at a small fraction of what some Butcher Covers have been selling for. We got this in recently on a trade and are willing to pass the savings on to you. If you are looking for exaggerated condition and exclamation  points, you won't find it here. I have sold many Butcher Covers at affordable prices and my buyers have nothing but nice things to say except for one buyer who never complained about condition , ignored a full refund  and then posted negative after requesting items that weren't included in the auction . This is NOT a top example but a very nice peel that is the focal point of this offering. One of the better peels that we have offered in a  while, and  the quality of the peel is what is the value here as if you threw this in an archival frame, it would present as nicely as a  peeled Butcher costly hundreds more !  Still, this isn't a perfect jacket and the seams  are not perfect on this one.  So please , I request that if you have questions or aren't sure about the condition of the item that you are bidding on , please dont  bid . This one is an intermediate level cover with some obvious condition issues mostly pertaining to the seams and some light to average wear on the back and foxing. Please read the auction text carefully before bidding.  I've placed a modest reserve on this and a reasonable Buy It Now price for those who don't want to fight it out for the duration of the auction. So if you are interested, bookmark the auction and keep an eye on it. This is a great price on a peeled butcher that would be costly to upgrade. Auction is for the Butcher Cover,Inner Sleeve , removed trunk slick (wrinkled and a bit tattered with a  piece missing on the bottom,  Mono Scranton record in Fair to Good shape (light name on one side of label) and t-shirt size Adult XL (Extra Large).

 As I said in the introduction, there are condition issues on this Butcher and although it is about a VG- condition, it is better than average entry level examples and this is a very nice peel with no sightly rips or tears or screw ups on the peel. The colors and fleshtones are decent on this one.

Many people only dream of owning a genuine treasure such as this and are willing to tolerate condition issues in order to save several hundred dollars. The top and bottom seams have  several inches of splitting but have been neatly glued. Spine writing is mostly present  at the top of the spine but there are a few inches of chipping and paper loss in the middle and end sections of the spine.
