If you've been looking for a genuine and authentic more rare Stereo Capitol 1966 3rd State (peeled) Butcher Cover complete with the Removed Trunk Slick in framable condition, then this might be for you ! These are known to be 5 to 10 times more scarce than their mono counterparts. This offering comes complete with the vinyl and original inner sleeve.This would look great framed together with the trunk slick. Please check out all the photos including photos of this actual item (as a 2nd State) prior to being professionally peeled.

Condition: 
Front of Jacket:
Decent looking peel overall. There is a myth out there that all Scranton PA Butcher Covers are easy peels. Not so, especially with the Stereo versions. Regardless, this still presents better than 95% of the peels you see offered on the internet. This is priced accordingly and the peel is very respectable in this price range. 
Butcher slick is nice with only light evidence of glue lines, residue from the trunk slick application back in 1966. No major damage and touch up (if any) would be very minimal on this one. Definitely a keeper !

Seams: 
Top seam exhibits some chipping and balding on seam ends and a small repaired split on the mouth end as well as approximately 3 inches of splitting in the middle of the top seam that appears to have been neatly secured to prevent further spread. Bottom seam has more splitting from approximately the middle of the seam to the mouth opening. This has also been neatly secured inside with archival hinging material to prevent further spreading  (See close up photos of top and bottom seams). To protect the integrity of the seams and avoid future damage, a record should never be placed or stored in this jacket. This album jacket is nearly 60 years old and should be protected accordingly.
Spine: 
The spine shows some chipping and cracking with some paper missing but most spine writing is present. (See close up spine photos).
Back Of Jacket:  
The back of the jacket shows light wear/aging but nothing too severe (no writing, tears etc). (See photo of back)
Trunk Slick: 
Trunk slick is included and is in framable condition with wrinkling, wear, tear and repair (see photos of removed trunk slick).
Record/Inner Sleeve: 
Comes complete with Stereo East Coast mono pressing in VG visual condition (light paper scuffs and scratches). Plays better than it looks without any major disturbances, skips etc. Correct East Coast Goldenrod CAPITOL INNER SLEEVE included with side and bottom splits and some wear and tear. Record will come stored in a mo fi style inner sleeve and white cardboard jacket. (see photos of record and inner sleeve)

This item has been through a laborious process from the 2nd state to what you see here, and as such, the grading is unique on this item.This cannot be graded like a comic book or a baseball card due to the fact that this jacket has twice been altered from its original state, once by the paste over process at the Capitol Factory and likewise by the peeling process. Any minor imperfections (ie: Glue Residue from Trunk Slick application in 1966, touch up ,etc) are from either process. The photos speak for themselves and we do our best to accurately grade these historic artifacts.
