BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!

This auction is for a Beatles third state mono Yesterday & Today 'Butcher Cover.' This is one of the nicest peel jobs I've seen! Almost no glue residue was left behind after the peel was completed, obviously a professional job. All the Beatles faces are perfect with no blemishes. The only flaws with the slick are along the right side of the cover. If you examine the photographs you'll see that there is some wear on the edge next to Ringo's arm, and at the upper right corner above the word SING, there was a small tear (approximately 1/4" x 1/2") that was repaired quite nicely. Other then these flaws along the right side, the slick is gorgeous. This is a #3 back cover, so the slick has more purple hues to the colors behind the Beatles making it really beautiful. The rest of the cover is solid, but not M- like the front cover slick is. The bottom seam has a 5" repaired split, and the top seam has a 2" repaired split. The spine at the left side of the cover has a 6" repaired split. The top seam and spine may not have been completely split; it's hard to tell. All seams are now tidy after repair. The back cover has a little aging, but is clean, with an erased name at the top (in a white section). The original disc and inner sleeve are included. The disc has clean labels and grades VG+ with some light marks and hairlines, none can be felt, and the disc plays strong. Overall, this is a highly presentable example of a Beatles' Butcher cover, with the main plus being the beautiful Butcher slick itself. If this cover were framed, it would look like a first state; the slick is that nice. Good luck bidding!

It looks like there is glue residue in these photos in the area of the Beatles' pant legs. It is just the photographs; there is actually very little glue residue left anywhere on the cover.
