Description

This is a real nice condition ORIGINAL 1964 CAPITOL RECORDS MONO U.S. SCRANTON PRESSING of the LP titled 'Beatles '65' from The Beatles.  It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number T 2228, packaged inside the cover in its original Capitol 'Teen Set' stock inner sleeve.
Please see my accompanying back cover image for the track listing and other information.
Glossy, rainbow-rim capitol labels without "subsidiary" print.
First catalog appears on the sleeve, second on the labels.
The number "3" is printed just left of the RIAA seal on the lower right corner of the back cover.

  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 10: side A, runout, stamped): T1-2228-J4 IAM [In Triangle]
  • Matrix / Runout (Variant 10: side B, runout, stamped): T2-2228-H1 #2 IAM [In Triangle]

Condition of record is a real nice EX with all original gloss and just three or four small surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Condition of cover is also EX with the only real flaw veing a little wear and a few extremely small wrinkles at one bottom corner.  Capitol 'Teen Set' stock inner sleeve has splits in all three edges which I have repaired with clear tape, a few very slight wrinkles, and a little bit of wear along its top edge.
This copy of 'Beatles '65' is in nicer condition than most of the copies available on eBay - It would make a choice addition to any Beatles or 1960s rock-n-roll record collection!
