This auction is for a superb rare 1964 stereo UK 1st pressing of Beatles For Sale.  

Parlophone lable PCS 3062 in rare STEREO. 

Matrix: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1.  Stamper codes:  AL/1 & AD/5 (very early stampers)

The laminated gatefold cover is in excellent condition. It is extremely difficult to find covers of AHDN in excellent condition.  There is very strong and glossy lamination with no glazing and no creases.  There is no edge wear.  There is some light roughness to the spine lamination, but it does not wear into the spine cover.  There is only very minor corner wear.  The ring impression is almost non-existent.  The inside gatefold is in excellent condition with no grubbiness or yellowing to the white flipbacks. There are no creases on the back, it is perfect. The front cover is perfect with the exception of a small area of lamination separation (the lamination is not broken) along the spine area. 

The original Emitex inner sleeve is excellent, no flaws.

The labels are in excellent (+) to near mint labels, with only the most minor and faint few spindle marls and a perfect spindle hole.

The vinyl is stunning; easily excellent (+).  There are only a few small light hairlines and the faintest of paper scuffs visible under strong direct sunlight. 

This copy plays and sounds easily excellent (+) and only the most severe rating precludes a mint (-). There are near silent run-ins and only the very lightest faint crackle throughout, with only a very few of the most faint and minor clicks.  There is no nasty pops, no skips, no nasty or even moderate crackling.  This is an awesome sounding copy.

This LP was sourced in the UK by a reputable and well-established UK dealer when I acquired my UK collection a number of years ago. It has been played only once since I purchased it to verify condition and just recently once again to prepare this listing.  I am now selling off my prized collection of UK albums.  Check my other current listings, and I will be listing more, so keep an eye out.

The LPs will be shipped using specialty LP packaging materials from Cameron Packaging.  LPs will be packaged using either single or double-boxes, cardboard spacers, and bubble wrapping.  The vinyl will be in a non-original protective inner sleeve and the original inner sleeve will be securely packed.  The vinyl will not be shipped inside the cover.
