Description
The Beatles - "Beatles VI", 1st UK EXPORT Stereo Press, Parlophone CPCS 104, corrected label version, with error sleeve, 1966.
One of the most sought-after subsets in the UK Beatles vinyl catalog, 'Export' pressings were manufactured by EMI-UK for exclusive distribution in overseas markets. Export albums were pressed in significantly fewer numbers relative to domestic releases and are consequently so are much harder to find.
This is the rare 1st stereo export pressing from 1966 with corrected labels removing the erroneous "Sold In The UK..." text. 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' printed at the start perimeter print. and “Made In GT. Britain” lower text. No side number on labels. Scratched matrix on side 2, and "Dizzy Mis Lizzie" sleeve error. With original EMI LP advertising inner sleeve. This also has super low stampers on both sides with 1st mothers on both sides and single character stampers on both sides making this one of the very first pff the press on day-one.

Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated flipback cover, small “stereo” on front. Sleeve has misspelled track as “Dizzy Miss Lizzie” on the back track listing.
Stampers: 1 R / 1 R
Inner: Original EMITEX advertising inner.

The Disc Visual
In good natural light the record exhibits a superb 'factory-fresh' gloss and immaculately clean appearance, devoid of any marks or blemishes. When scrutinised under focused halogen light, a very small amount of short, light hairlines are visible, superb! The disc sits completely flat on the turntable with no warping or dishing. EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Disc Audio
A superb listening experience. Quiet lead-ins to both sides and between tracks. Side now has no crackle, obtrusive pops, repeat clicks, and clearly no skips or sticks in this top condition. Side two performs equally as well bar three very light ticks towards the end of track two. Overall.. superb! EXCELLENT PLUS!
The Sleeve
The sleeve is in beautiful condition, super glossy clean front with no ring wear, sharp fully-readable spine without wear, one small light stain at the bottom right of the otherwise clean ands white matte card back. Incredible condition for a cover of this age. EXCELLENT!
The Inner
Original EMI advertising inner is clean and without splits or rips, just light signs of handling, EXCELLENT!
