 we've never seen a sealed one of these, and looking through past internet auctions we can't find a sealed set ever being sold as long as the years of history goes back.

and with that sticker on the cover. right on! it had a sticker on the cover!

 regarding condition - please note light discolorations are only on cellophane itself

we made great attempts to clean this as was very dusty and the dust has gotten in the the crevices of the cellophane.. we should have used a q-tip for the corners and sides.

so, the plastic has adhered to the outer white book front around the letters mostly and has some weird hazing/discoloring. this was a concern--Is that stuff on the cellophane or the actual cover? hard to tell even in person..

so, when I rub around the letters and around the spine, moving the cellophane over the cover to detach it from the vinyl book cover, and  looking with a magnifying glass, these light brown discolorations disappear. This is not easy to do without breaking or visually stretching the cellophane. But still I wasn't sure, so after these pictures, I opened an already existing half inch tear on the spine which allowed to actually touch the cover with my finger where the brown haze is...and it rubs right off and turns white. really. like dust. cause I was concerned if these discolorations would be there when cellophane removed. but no it comes right off like it was never there.

 Then there's the pinkish bits on front cover, looking with a mag glass..the pink moves with the cellophane and is ON the backside of the cellophane. weird.
